Banyon Community Services along with the HWCDSB and the Kiwanis Club of Hamilton East have created a partnership with the idea of creating a place where newcomers to the area and working families can go to make community connections and build the relationships necessary for success. On Nov. 19th, the Grand Opening of The East Kiwanis Community Centre at 785 Britannia Ave. was made possible. Many residents attended the exciting event in the old St. Helen School which will incorporate many social services, clubs and programs for residents and newcomers to the east end of Hamilton.
