Student Success

The HWCDSB recognizes that each young person has his or her own unique interests, goals and strengths and every student should have the same opportunity to succeed and graduate from secondary school. Schools have responded to this with more high-quality course options inside and outside of the classroom and more one-on-one support when students need extra help.

HWCDSB secondary schools are working with community partners including employers, colleges, and universities to help our students focus on their interests and support their learning. All partners in education are working together to reach every student by meeting their needs, interests and strengths, engaging them in learning and better preparing them for graduation and beyond.
