The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is hosting its first Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, August 18th at the Flamborough Hills Golf Course in Copetown.
Proceeds from this inaugural golf tournament will go directly to enhancing services.

Power of the Pen Creative Writing Contest

Power of the Pen Creative Writing Contest

The 29th Power of the Pen writing competition invites writers ages 12-18 to submit original poetry and short stories in English, French or both languages. Prizes are for 1st and 2nd place in seven age groups in poetry and short story categories. Digital submissions are encouraged.
This year's competition opens May 1st and closes September 29th.

The Bill Galvin Racing Alliance is hosting a writing and art contest for Ontario students in Grades 3-8. Students are invited to enter a poem or short story, or a drawing and sketch to be considered for cash prizes.

Bivalent COVID-19 booster now available for all Hamiltonians 12+

Hamiltonians 12 years of age and older will be eligible for a bivalent COVID-19 booster dose, as long as they meet the following eligibility criterion:
• have received a first and second dose;
• recommended six months (minimum three months) since their most recent dose; and
• have not been infected with COVID-19 over the past three months.
