Thanks to staff members at St. Ann (Hamilton) Catholic Elementary School, eight deserving students will have an opportunity to attend camp this summer.

Organized by Teacher Gabriele Lori, St. Ann held "Dress Down Days" throughout the year, where for a small donation staff could trade in their work attire for something a little more comfy.

Collectively they raised $1,335, with $1,280 being used to send students on a one week summer camp experience at Camp Marydale.

"The parents expressed sincere appreciation for the opportunity for their child(ren)," said Special Education Teacher Fabrizio Albini. "The excitement on the faces of the students when I shared the various activities they'll be involved in was invaluable."
