On Wear Yellow and Walk to School day schools and parents across the city are encouraged to allow children to wear yellow clothing and support students and staff using active transportation (walking, cycling, rolling, bus) to get to school. Parents that must drive can park 1 km away and let students walk in to join in on the fun. Remember to ‘turn it off’ when parked as Hamilton has a no-idling by-law.
